Our volunteers come to us from many backgrounds,

some are retired or working teachers and professionals, high school and college students, church members and community residents of all ages. Some of our area High School tutors earn community service credit for graduation!

All of our tutors must submit a background screening as a requirement of Fairport Central School District and pass an exam about preventing child abuse.
